Hi Garry, yes I saw the lights too in Port Macquarie's sky this morning at 5:25am. Apparently it was SpaceX launching satellites for its Starlink satellite internet constellation. Check out the video at https://7news.com.au/entertainment/viral-weird/stargazers-witness-strange-ufo-lights-moving-in-straight-line-across-nsw-skies-c-672978

I was travelling from Bendigo to Melbourne airport to collect my brother from the airport. At 5.20am I was travelling south on the freeway an caught something in my peripheral vision that at first I thought was a reflection from a vehicle behind me. I slowed down as I thought this may be an aircraft at low altitude. The sky was completely clear of cloud and pitch black. Stars were highly visible. The object was travelling in a South west direction and appeared as a line of bright white lights that resembled aircraft windows. There was no sign of any navigation lights or cockpit windows or evidence of wings blocking out any of the string of lights. I could not make out any shape but stopped on the freeway as the object continued to move slowly across my field of view. Height was I would say a few thousand feet. I went to get my camera but as I got ready the object disappeared from view. No sound could be heard above the sound of the freeway. Interesting other vehicles had also slowed down to view it and my brothers flight was on a totally unusual flight path that took it across to Perth and along the coast to Melbourne rather than coming across Broome and down over Bendigo. I was interested in the other comments re views from Sydney on the same date 30th Jan 2020. If they also saw the same object wouldn't that indicate it was immense in size? Also why divert air flights along the coast and not use the normal flight paths. One final thing there are usually several flights coming in at that time of morning that you can see on the drive down. There were none on that morning. Very interesting sighting.

Did anyone witness the stream of white lights in the east a bit after 5 am this morning 31st Jan. Seemed like dozens of lights together and then tapered of to only a few, but all were in a straight line descending at about 30 to 40 degrees. Any ideas what this might have been?

Can you please tell me if witnesses have seen this red looking UFO in the (City CBD) and it’s strange how I’ve seen it in my area (north east). I was driving in the afternoon around 7pm at night, I had a look up as I was getting onto the Anzac bridge, I spotted a red star looking UFO just sitting there in the night sky, observing and like it was analysing the city?? One other night at my house, I’m sitting down chilling out side with my close family and relatives, I look up and there it is again! observing and hovering over the infrastructure/business district!?

At approximately 5:10 a.m. on Thursday 30th January I happened to look up to the east and saw a thin string of lights, too long to be an aeroplane and there were no red wing lights blinking on and off. I pointed it out to my husband and we watched it for about 30 seconds before it seemed to turn and then disappeared.

About 5.20 am on Thursday 30 January 2020, I observed a weird object in the sky. This object moved at the speed of the ISS, but it was very long and rectangular with a series of lights. It reminded me of a LSD light bar on a vehicle. It was moving west to east. It was very clear, but by the time I got my husband out to look at it, it was quite a distance away, but he could still discern the shape.

At just after 5am on 30 Jan 2020, I was in a park on Brighton Rd, Croydon, Sydney 2132 and noticed a long straight line of bright lights - approx a dozen - travelling at similar speeds you'd expect from a plane from south to north, possibly along the coast. There was no sign of wings, or wing/tail lights. It's hard to estimate the size, distance etc, however I'd estimate the length to be three to four times the length of an air-plane. The lights were much bigger brighter than air plane wing lights maybe 3x or 4x the size - although it's hard to gauge the size or how high they were in the clear pre-dawn sky. The lights in the sky were travelling at a different angle to planes landing or tacking off at Mascot airport. You don't see the internal lights shining through the windows on the air planes I see at that time of day, or in planes travelling higher up who are travelling past Sydney airport - I'm fairly certain it was not a regular plane. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone/camera on me at the time to record it.

30/1/2020 approx 5:20am Driving to work this morning I looked up and noticed a strange row of lights at about a 30° angle in the sky. For a moment I thought it was caused from a light on my dash, but it wasn't. Definately in the sky. I only saw it for a few minutes before the road curved and it was out of view. I wish I took a photo!!

Same as Stephen below, I saw a white light traveling at about 30 deg angle. At first I thought it was a plane's contrail, then realised the light was staying the same size. It was travelling from South to North. I was able to video it. Here is a link to that video: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AnYsouB2bsg-gZFgRoHcV6MPbQnyHQ?e=GDqODX

It was around 10.00 pm on 24 JAN 2020. Closing my shed door I saw a white light traveling at a 30 deg angle. I was thinking it must be a car going up the hill. Then a split second they were big red light truck size in diameter. It came low level across the hill then making a sharp right turn in the direction of the car? So I thought than both were gone. I looked on for 10 mins - nothing. Next morning I looked across where I thought I saw the car? Could not see for trees in the way.

Approximately between 0425 and 0430 this morning the 24th of January 2020 I first observed what I thought was two satellites on the same path (West to East) and pointed it out to my two work mates, we all then observed a string of what we don’t know what all at what seemed the same height, all roughly the same distance apart, and all traveling in a single line west to east. We counted at least 40! One mate videoed a portion of it, I tried but it mines pretty crappy. I’ve been trying to find stories on it all day but with no luck, just can’t explain it.

This morning at 04:30 one white light at a time, I observed and counted 15 of them in steady intervals. As soon as a light deemed, another appeared. Seems to be heading in a northerly direction and observed to be over to the east. After the 15th have been observed, the cloud cover thickened and visibility deteriorated fast.

Monday evening in South Western Sydney at approx 10.30pm. I was at the front of my property at approx 10.30pm; clear night with a little cloud on the horizon. I looked north toward the Blue Mountains and noticed a bright reddish orange orb like light move from the East to the West; I observed for around 20 seconds and asked my wife if she could see it and she could. My wife thought it a plane but I explained the lights were too bright; as it seemed to just disappear behind trees a Jet had taken off from Sydney airport and as a reference I showed my wife. Her answer was yes; definitely not a Jet or a helicopter as it just disappeared.

On the morning of last Sunday, 8 December 2019, I was at Walkerville Oval, in the inner north-east Adelaide suburb of Walkerville, in broad daylight, I saw something in the sky that was like nothing I've seen before. It was a clear, warm sunny morning, with just a few high clouds. Beneath the clouds (my best guess would be a few hundred metres in altitude) I saw a copper-colured object, shiny and reflective. It was rectangular in shape, with the sides ratio of about 2:1, about 3 x 6 m would be feasible dimensions. As well as moving through the sky in a consistent trajectory of NE to SW, it was also rotating at a speed of one complete turn every few seconds. It's times like these I wish I had a decent modern phone with sharp video capabilities. I'm still at a loss to think what this could have been. Is there anyone else in the Adelaide region who may have witnessed this?

On the 11th of October 2019 at around 7pm in North Curl Curl, my boyfriend and I were sitting in his car looking at the view from the headland when I spotted a roaming white light about the size of Venus when you can see it. I knew it couldn't have been a satellite because of how varied its movements were (up and down, left and right, etc) and it wasn't a shooting star or plane. It had no flashing lights and my boyfriend saw it too when I pointed it out to him. I watched it for around 5 seconds before it seemed to disappear behind a cloud as it shone a reflection onto it before I lost sight of it. It was very strange and I've only witnessed one other object, well objects, in the sky that I couldn't identify before, but I dismissed them as possible weather balloons.

Between 9.50 and 10pm on 4th December 20019, was sitting outside with my family and saw a continuous stream of stars/satellites/ufo's. At first I thought they may have been satellites but have never seen anything like this, a continuous stream, equally spaced, at about the 17th one there was one out to the left, same spacing, travelling at the same speed, this repeated several times in the stream. Once they reached directly above where we were, they seemed to just disappear or head straight up and disappear. They were travelling from the SW to NE direction, after about 5 mins and many satellites, their direction changed slightly more northerly, but still same spacing and the odd one out to the left about every 15 or so. There was at least one out to the right also travelling same direction. About half way in the viewing there was one of the satellites that definitely had two large lights, where the rest all just looked like satellites or stars. We have no idea what this may have been as they were silent, just like satellites/stars. There were at least 80 to 100 of these during their pass over in a continuous straight line.

There have been numerous reports like this. It is possible that they may be the SpaceX Starlink satellites. YouTube has several examples of this. Please take a look at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytUygPqjXEc and see if it is similar to your sighting.
