On 16 May 2016 at about 8 o'clock I saw a long very bright object with what looked like a rounded ball at the lower end. This ball gave a blinking light that caused a rose coloured aura around the object. The object was very small and very high. I thought it may be a star but it was much brighter than any of the stars and then it rose in the sky moving a considerable distance. Stars don't move. After about an hour the sky was covered with cloud and there was nothing more visible.

I had an uneasy feeling as my partner and I stepped onto our double story bedroom balcony. We looked at the night sky talking about how beautiful it was when I noticed a very large object in the sky across from us just above the tree line. It could have been a kilometre in length from where we saw it. It was shaped like an M but from our view it looked angled. It was cruising north-east from our view point and it looked cloaked. We could just make it out and as it moved, the stars behind, disappearing. It cruised for around ten seconds until it fully disappeared. It had a very strange black and grey colour. My partner and I talked about this in detail, we both agreed it looked like a solid object but had a fade or haze to it. There was no sound at all, not even birds. Our pets usually come up stairs with us to bed but they didn't come up stairs at all that night. Very strange, the closest UFO sightings that match what we saw are the Phoenix Lights. See black triangle (UFO) on Wikipedia at: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_triangle_(UFO)

Last night, 20 January 2016 at approximately 8 pm my wife pointed to the sky and said what's that in the sky quick look. I looked up and saw a bright white round light travelling North over Umina towards Woy Woy (NSW) direction. It seemed quite high up (helicopter height) and travelling fast like a satellite would but it wasn't a satellite as it was too low for that and too fast as I have seen satellites many times before. It was also completely silent.
