UFO Sighting Guestbook

In 1978 I was living at Smokey Cape light House , every 2nd night I would go up to the base of the lighthouse at 8.30 to watch the ocean and sky and wait for my father to walk up at 9oc to read and report the weather to Canberra. This night upon arriving I immediately saw two very bright objects , level with me and about 4-5 hundred meters to the ESE , they were large disc shaped with a flat bottom , hard to gauge size but at a guess Id say 50meters and about a hundred meters apart . I immediately fetched a small telescope from just inside the door and upon looking closer I could see some coloured lights around the base , one was slightly higher than the other and i could see the flat bottom was round as well . There was no moon or cloud and it was a very calm clear night stars very bright , the only other thing out there was a cargo ship 10-12 km to the east brightly lit .After watching for a few minutes I went down to the house to get someone , by the time we returned they had gone . During the following few months my sister and I saw a very angular ,metallic grey object about 70 feet in length and 25 in height , floating above the second flood gate on the west side of the Macleay River at 8oc in the morning on our way into Kempsey .At this same spot a friend ,Peter and his mother were driving back from Kempsey one night at 9oc about this same time when their car stopped and the lights went out ,a firery ball 2m in diameter passed over the car and went 150 meters into the paddock to their right , the car then started and they have taken off , the ball then approached the car again which stopped , lights went out , he said his mother was in a total panic by then so when the ball flew to the other side of the river , lights and engine started , she floored it for South West Rocks and they never looked back .... Me and my son were camping at a site along marsh road (bobs farm). Monday 26th jan At about 9pm we were looking up at the stars from our roof top tent. I’d noticed a bright orange light much lower than the rest of the other stars. It was east to our position. We both looked at it then suddenly it shot away easterly. It could see it dim as it moved away. Only a couple of seconds before you had disappeared. Would be interesting if anyone else had seen something similar.... Collapse

This incident occurred around The Entrance, NSW around late '96 or '97. It was night. We were driving back from Morrisett to Sydney. My then husband was driving, I was passenger & my 12yr old daughter & 7 yr old son were in the back along with my youngest son who was in a car seat. Both us adults and my daughter have clear memories of this incident even today. It was a clear night. Around 8pm. We had pulled off the hwy to look for somewhere for takeaway. There were other cars around. There were street lights. To our left ahead there was an orange orb light. It seemed to hover above the tree line. Then it would dart eratically. It seemed to grow in size, then reduce again. Similar to looking at the Moon in size, but as low as the tree line. It then changed from orange to red. As we got closer it came towards the road and changed to a bright white light. We pulled over as did 2 cars ahead of us and 1 behind. We always remember 1 young guy got out and was standing next to his driver's door just staring. The white light moved really fast towards us. My daughter & I were freaking out and yelling at my husband to just go go , go! We just had a real feeling of fear & dread & a need to hurry. My daughter was physically hitting my husband on the back of his head and yelling because he was just not moving or speaking. The white light had begun to move away from our direction to behind us. But when we started reacting, then driving off, that white light zoomed back toward us and was right behind our car. You couldn't see size or form because the light was blinding. It was pandemonium inside our car, I was telling my husband to floor it. As we did that light stopped, turned and moved back down the rd again. Over the decades the 3 main things that have continued to stick out for us is speeding past that young guy & wondering what happenned to him, if anything. Also how we instictively knew we only had a minute to get away. Like it went from intrigue to primal fear for us without reasoning. The 3rd thing is hard to explain without sounding like a tripper. But we all said it was like it recognized us and quickly turned around to get to us. Remembering this all occurred within minutes yet we all managed to have the same flashes of thoughts even in our hyper state. We continued to see strange lights in the night sky going home, but at a distance, for a few klms. Everyone slept in the same room that night as we were totally freaked out. We rang the local radio stations the next day to see if there had been reports but none had come in.... Collapse

On my 5.00am walk it was a good viewing morning of the milky way. I notice four lights of equal size almost directly above me moving from north west to south east in a straight line, equal distance apart travelling at the same speed. I immediately stopped walking thinking that my walking could have given the impression that these lights or stars were moving. After stopping these lights keep moving the numbers grew and I stopped counting at 20. I'm guessing between 20 and 30 lights all up and kept going in a straight line formation until they disappeared into the horizon. As I was watching I used my fingers to determine that my fingers were about an inch apart. The light was apart half of Venus's light. I know they weren't aircraft cause there were no colored wing and belly lights. A few years ago I witnessed skylab go across the sky and even though these lights were a little bigger I would swear that they gave the appearance of being the same distance away that sky lab was..I cant come up with an explanation other than Elon Musk has put another bunch of internet satellites up there. But if that was the case wouldn't I see them every day and alot more them........So at this stage I shall call them UFO's and a hell of alot them.........Tony........ Collapse

I am a retired commercial and ag-pilot with 28 years in the industry. Logging over 9000 hrs in various types of aircraft. I would like to recall an incident that I witnessed in 2017. While conducting night spraying operations West of Moree, I saw a pair of pale blue lights approaching from the East. The lights were at about 5 or 6000 ft and were headed directly for the area is was working. At first I thought it was another aircraft, the lights continued to approach my position at a constant speed and altitude. I guessed they were about 10 - 15 meters apart. I was setting up for a spray run, flicked on my work lights ( these retract into the wing when not in use and extend when turned on) I glanced over to the East to spot the position of the unknown craft and saw that the lights had now separated to a distance of about 100 meters and had decended to about 100 or 200 meters altitude. The 2 objects passed directly over my aircraft, continuing on a westerly course. I pulled up at the end of the run to about 500 feet, turned west to follow the objects. I could see the objects had climbed back up to about 5000 feet but were still travelling at a constant steady speed of about 140 kn. I was directly behind the objects but at a much lower altitude, I seemed to be keeping pace with them. After about 3 or 4 minutes, the objects lights grew in intensity, change colour from blue to green to yellow-white. The objects simultaneously accelerated to a high speed, climbing higher then changed course to the north, I tracked them visually for another minute or two, then they vanished. I had noticed some static in my headset when they passed over my position. I could also feel a kind of inexplicable energy like a low voltage current on my skin during this encounter. The next day I reported the incident to RAAF Base Amberley. A few days later I received a call from RAAF officer, she stated that a similar sighting was reported the next day from SE Queensland near Goondiwindi. ( 120 klms north of moree) no explanation was given.... Collapse

I was driving along a road on the southern outskirts of Bendigo around 9pm on 8th July 2022. I saw a flash of white light zoom across the sky, above the tree line for a second or two. It was moving horizontally in a southerly direction just above the tree line, so probably not a shooting star, and it was moving faster than any plane or helicopter that I have ever seen.... I just wish to relate a story I heard on a radio show one night 30 years ago as recounted by the observer. This bloke was in the navy during WW2 on a battle ship (type I forgot). He said that one afternoon he was on deck as one of a couple of lookouts. He said that an urgent call came up from mid-ships. It was from the radar operator. The operator was exited in his speech. He asked the bridge, what the hell is directly above us. On deck they scanned with their binoculars and the caller said that he spotted the object. He and others said that it was stationary directly above them as reported by the radar operator. The caller described it as enormous in size and the shape was circular. Then the radar operator screamed what's happening, now there are more objects smaller in size. The bloke on deck said that about 6 or more smaller object emerged from what he called the 'mother ship'. The call went out to man the guns. He said that we were at war and the ships command were worried that it was an advanced type of war plane. Cut a long story short, he then said that the shells had no effect and that the smaller objects disappeared under the larger object (mother ship) and flew off. Well, just then the radar operator contacted the bridge and screamed out what the hell happened. The operator said that it shot off the screen at such a fast speed that was not known that any aircraft was capable of doing. This bloke who was recounting the story, then gave his rank, day of the incident, time, who was there, the name of the ship he was enlisted on and he gave the page number of the log entry. New Year's Eve, 2021. We were sitting by the shore in Bellerive, facing the city of Hobart across the Derwent River, waiting for the kids' fireworks. The sun set at about 8:52pm. On our left, a drone zoomed out over the water towards where the fireworks would be. Venus was the first light in the sky, and she was nearing the horizon. The kids' fireworks started at 9:30pm and - how long do such things go for? - finished at about 9:40. Everyone was packing up to leave when I pointed out a different light in the sky. "And that must be Jupit.... uhh, wait, what IS that?". It was a large, bright point of yellowish/star-coloured light in the north. It was a solid light, no twinkling, and although it seemed to be some huge Jupiter coming awfully close, it was steadily moving east! Now, this could have been another massive drone I thought, but I made sure to follow it and I saw that its light faded to reddish/brownish and then quickly disappeared BEFORE it reached the horizon of buildings in the north-east and I lost sight of it! I reckon, if this thing faded the way it did, maybe it was still being hit by the sunlight. I mean, it was still only less than an hour after sunset. But if that's possible, it must have had a lot of altitude, in which case it was moving really quickly! I freaked out one of the kids, I tell ya.... Collapse

Have witnessed Multiple Lights increasing lights on many occasions over the past few months what appears to over nsw heights are hard to judge but some maybe between 20 thousand and or above initial thoughts was maybe part of the war games being held but doesn't seem like because most modern exhausts don't glow not ruling out that they are ours or not and not ruling out what's now in use if we have it but it doesn't make sense to have them visible over NSW either so ....that only leaves me to assume that covid has changed movement or changed something at least and they are probably interested for whatever reason in witnessing the current events .... it's worth nothing the increase as well as on almost all occasions ground windspeed was high as well as the checking of civilian use flight radar.com ..... why the increase ????... I just saw something burn up on entry above the ocean looking North from Freshwater at 10:44pm. It looked like a firework ball of fire with a tail, but upside down heading down from space. It lasted about 2 seconds. The trajectory bearing was roughly 120 degrees from north falling in a South Easterly direction out to sea from the coast above Dee Why. Meteor? Satellite ?... Collapse
