At 6.20 pm on the 12 August 2018 my husband and I were driving, when we saw a strange bright star which seemed to have a white foggy area around it. At first it looked like a star with a cloud in front of it however it was windy and there was not a single cloud in site! It got even freakier when we got out of the car and this thing started to almost turn side ways with what looked like a shadow of a large blimp with two airplane wings on each side. It honestly looked like something out of a movie. The video we took was not clear so people may think we are liars but this is very real! It wasn’t a plane and it hovered for about 40 minutes until it slowly disappeared back into the solar system!!

On the 12 August 2018 looking west at about 6.25 pm I saw what looked like distant plane landing lights viewed through cloud although the night sky was free of cloud. It was not celestial as it was travelling in the same direction as the earths rotation, moving very slowly on a west/east trajectory. At times there were three distinct plumes, two either trailing or straight down when viewed from our view point and the other directed towards the front. After 10 minutes or so the, 'landing light effect' was lost but the almost luminous plume effect could be seen until it was directly overhead when it faded from view, at around 6.50 pm. No idea what it was, perhaps a particle charged air pocket/gas cloud who knows, never seen before. Absolutely no idea of what it was, but not clouds.

At 6:34 pm on the 12 August 2018 had a buddy from Wollongong message me asking to look into the sky. I headed outside to see what looked like a single cloud in a cloudless sky completely lit up. Had come inside to grab my phone hoping to take a photo (was unable as my Samsung Galaxy S1 takes terrible shots in the dark) but noticed it had appeared to move from over the Emu Plains area towards the north.

Unknown odd looking lighted object in the sky above Sydney metro area, looking south west at 6:25 pm on the 12 August 2018. On an absolute clear sky night with no clouds, crisp, and windy, a smoky, whispy looking object with different light deflecting off it and stationary in the sky. I have no idea what it could be? Any ideas?

My daughter was looking out the bedroom window on the 6 August 2018 when she saw a large bright light. She said it stopped and changed into two half moon shapes. Then it shot across the sky. She is 12 years old and it frightened her. This is becoming a regular thing here in Tiverton, Devon. It was about 11 pm.

On Sunday, 5 August 2018 I was looking south east from Leonay High. In the blue sky at approximately 5.30 pm I saw a bright yellow star tracking very slowly east. It was clearly visible for about five minutes before fading out of sight behind the clouds.

At approximately 6:30 pm this evening, Saturday 4 August 2018, I was driving southbound on the M1 between Toronto & Morisset exits. I was with my 7 year old son. We were looking at the red glow from the bushfire back burning ahead in the distance. The night sky was crystal clear. We then saw what I describe as a green glowing shooting star or something else we’re unsure of. Yes bright green in colour with a large green flash following but then an after-glow of fiery red/orange. It was closer than any shooting star I’ve ever seen. It seemed only several kilometres away. Continued to burn across the freeway but then lost site of it. Possibly burning off completely or crashing into the bushland over the large hills. Did anyone else see this? I’ve not seen any reports? Could it have been a UFO burning off?

This evening, the 4 August 2018, at about 9.00 pm my friend and I saw a fast moving bright light with a green tail, like a comet near the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It passed across the sky for 20 seconds and then disappeared.

Bright silvery green light around the size of a street light streaking from the NE to the SW low in the sky horizontally right above rooftops looking directly SE from an upstairs veranda in Darlinghurst towards Paddington. It had a long streaking tail of same silvery light behind, different to a fire I have seen. Watched for two to three seconds. As it passed right in front of me I went inside to get my phone but it had disappeared in the seconds it took to get back out. Clear sky with Mars higher in sky to my left.

On the 4 August 2018 at 18:33 a UFO with a bright green smoke trail was spotted going in the south east direction. It zoomed past in the sky and before I could get the phone out to click a picture, it had vanished into thin air.

I was on a rooftop carpark with my friend at around 8.30 pm on Wednesday, 1 August 2018 and saw a light out of the corner of my eye. I looked up and saw a huge light about the shape of a cigar, it was very bright and way above the clouds. The light turned off after a few seconds like a lightbulb, but as I saw the light I could see it was attached to something sort of like the spaceship, from the movie, Independence Day. I'm writing this to see if anyone else out their saw it too?

On the 26 July 2018 my daughter and I were looking out the window it was about 11 pm and we saw a light in the sky. The light was like a very large gold star we looked away for a second and looked back and it was gone. Then we saw a large white light moving across the sky. We looked through binoculars it looked saucer shape with white lights around it. The object was too bright for a star and brighter than a satellite. It was a clear night and it's a bit worrying as I've seen the gold large light in the sky many times.

At approximately 10 pm on 27 July 2018 I was on my way out of my boyfriend's garage and I stopped in the back street to get my music working via bluetooth. I looked out my side window to see above the buildings a very large and lit, hovering object. At first I thought it was a plane. It had flashing red/green lights and three large squarish lights on the other side that appeared to have little stands on the bottom. It was stationary and too large to be a drone and appeared to be close. Before I could take a photo it started to move away and seemed as though it started to descend behind some trees in the distance. This was the same night as the lunar eclipse, hoping someone else saw this object.

At approximately 7 am on 22 July 2018 I was driving my wife to Sydney Airport. We both saw a flying object which was much brighter than the clouds. It was changing shape from round to a stick shape very quickly. Then the object released two smaller objects that were not as bright. The small objects were not moving and they stay beside the larger object. I was driving and asked my wife to take a picture, but it had disappeared. There were a lot of cars in the departure side at the airport, I wonder whether anybody else witnessed these objects?

On the 11 July 2018 my husband woke me at 2.10 am and said there was a large white light in the north east sky. As it went over our roof he said it appeared to be triangular shaped. My daughter woke up and the three of us watched it go south, it was moving too fast for a plane and was too big for a star. The strange think is I woke up in June and saw the same white light. My daughter and I where looking out the window one evening in early June. We saw what looked like a star slowly move down, stop then shoot off fast to the south. We are sure these lights are UFOs. I will say my husband never believed in any thing like this, until now.

Tonight around 7.15 pm my partner and I were driving back from shopping along the Great Western Highway in the westerly direction. We both saw at the same time, a rather large glowing green object arc across the sky in a north/west direction. It disappearing out of sight just prior to when it would have possibly hit the ground. We both commented, 'What was that?' We both agreed that it was highly unusual and 'other-worldly'. Did anyone else see this object?

A bright light was hovering over Albert Park in Melbourne for hours, at night on the 14 July 2018. I have a drone. but this thing was different, it was really high and for a period of four hours it was flying over the park. Initially it was still then it started to move. The light appeared to be V shaped.
