We had been talking about outer space and extraterrestrial life shortly before the sighting, as I have always been interested in space. I noticed three separate orange lights in the night sky. The lights were spread apart from one another, but not extremely far apart. The three lights appeared to move independently of one another. Their movements looked unusual to me and did not appear similar to the normal movement of aircraft that I was familiar with. After moving around for a period of time, the lights remained stationary for a while. At some point during the sighting, the three lights formed what I remember as a triangular formation. They subsequently moved away, although I cannot now remember exactly how they disappeared from view. The lights appeared to be a solid orange colour. I did not notice them flashing or changing colour, and I did not hear any sound associated with them. Witness recollection
The details I remember most clearly are the presence of three separate, solid-orange lights; their unusual independent movements; their remaining stationary for a period; and their eventual triangular formation before leaving the area.
