Early 1997 myself and my wife was at my parent's house in Campbelltown NSW my mother and wife were playing a game of scrabble at the kitchen table. It was during the evening and I decided to sit outside on the back patio I had a new pair of binoculars with me at the time. The backyard was facing in a north direction I was scanning the lights of Campbelltown and all the way towards Liverpool when I noticed a strange set of lights coming towards me a little to the east. With the naked eye the lights looked like one unit through the binoculars I could make out four blue lights above and four red lights below. The object was at a distance of ten to fifteen kilometers I watched the object through the binoculars as the object traveled closer towards me. After about 1 minute the object was directly in the east and around 2 or 3 kilometers from me still heading south I was about to lose sight of it by the neighbor's house so I went to the bottom of the yard to observe it for longer. The blue and red lights were flashing on and off in some sort of rhythm I felt fixated on them I lost sight of the object after a further 10 or 15 seconds I lowed my binoculars and no more than 2or 3 seconds passed after losing sight of the object when directly above and in front of me the same object appeared over the roof of my parent's house now traveling very slowly towards the north. This was without a doubt a UFO it was very large possibly one hundred feet above me the blue and red lights flashing very brightly I could see some sort of structure... Read more

I only watched this object above me for a very short time as I became very fearful of it there was no noise it must have moved very fast to have relocated its self from the short time since I lost sight of it or it may have been a separate craft with the same blue and red light configuration I started to head back into the house and found it very difficult to walk as the fear that I felt was accompanied by a very strange numb feeling. I got back inside and began telling my wife and mother what had just taken place. I went straight to the kitchen window and still feeling very scared looked out but it had gone. My wife has often reminded me of how shocked I looked. My mother was in disbelief with what I told her but my wife has no problem with this occurrence as we have witnessed UFOs together before this and many times since.... Collapse
