At approximately 2am on Sunday morning March 31, 2019 my father in-law and I witnessed what we first thought was a satellite in the north-east moving towards the horizon. The object then appeared to slow and move laterally. And then stop and remain stationary almost unnoticeable among the stars. It was night - the same magnitude as Venus. I’m a skeptic and have a science background. I’d say it was a ground based object until proven otherwise, but I am keen to hear if others also saw it.
