At 3:15 on Thursday morning, the 1 November 2018, I got out of bed and headed towards the kitchen to get a glass of Coke (I do this fairly often). This time I thought of sitting outside on the north facing balcony to enjoy the tranquillity of the night sky or even meditating. When I got to the open-plan kitchen, I suddenly saw through the window a large soft-white sphere, which passed by outside silently, from east to west. The sphere was at a distance of approximately 200 metres from me and maybe 10 metres off the ground. I’m guessing the size was approx that of a Ute rolled into a ball. It glided smoothly, no jerks or bumps, I guess that the pilot was licensed. Seriously it was not of this world. It didn’t shoot past, nor did it dawdle, it was like a Sunday stroll. I have wished all of my life that I would experience something that would give me a sign that we are not alone. I’ve known a few people who have had close encounters.
