At 6.13 pm on the 27 September 2018, I was driving and noticed a big green circle moving in the sky to my north west (about 330°) for around one second. It flew in a path like the letter J on its side and then split into a straight line with a gap in the middle — — like this before disappearing. It travelled in an southerly direction, I believe it reappeared as a super bright star that I was seeing shortly after that (about 270°) it had only just became dark and there was night road works that gave a lot of light pollution. No other stars were visible except for this one. Twenty minutes later when I got home the same star was clearly about five times the size of any other visible stars. At 9.05 pm I went back outside to check if it was still there and surely enough it was gone. Did anyone else see the green light?
