Friday night 6 January 2017 at approximately 22.10 pm I was at the rear of my property looking up in an easterly direction looking at the stars, from the east I noticed an object travelling at a great speed heading west. It had no lights and was dark blue grey in colour. It appeared to look like an elongated shark fin and passed by without any sound. I was trying to comprehend what I was seeing as it passed by. At a guess it was the size of a small airplane flying approximately 300 metres away and about 300 metres off the ground. As it was travelling west and heading over the roofline of my house it emitted four to five very quick bursts of light. The light pattern consisted of 30 to 40 bright white lights in a cross pattern. I then ran to the front of my house to see it travelling off west at a greater speed with no lights. Just the same stealthy blue grey colour as before. It was a clear night and the moon was not visible.
