On the 12 August 2017 my mum and I were at Tywyn in West Wales, UK watching the clear night sky for the expectant meteor shower at around 11.45 pm. After seeing a couple a great meteors a strange object appeared, no noise, and slowly went over the top of us. It was absolutely huge, it was not a solid looking object or circular, it was like a craft out of Star Trek. It appeared to be transparent, like it was cloaked and the sky around it looked weird, like it was vibrating. It's hard to explain, but we both described the same object! It was an amazing experience, that I will never forget.

Tonight I saw something that can't be explained. At 9.35 pm I saw two objects in the sky. Each object had two lights on the front. One headed towards the ocean the other in my direction. They were low, much lower than a plane. They looked like a drone or something? The shape was hard to define but I assumed it was round. As it passed closer I heard a sound similar to a fighter jet. This was strange.

Last night, 12 August 2017, my father and I saw the strangest thing fall from the sky. My sister was preoccupied looking at the odd orange moon, but meanwhile, as I sat in the front seat we saw a bright blue bell shaped object fall from the sky. It didn't appear from high up, it just popped out of no where, in the middle of the sky. I can't find anything like this object online.

Hi guys, just saw six small objects at about 4.15 pm on the 12 August 2017 over Newtown, NSW. It was a near clear sky with a feathering of clouds and a 747 had just flown by high overhead. Just behind the contrail of the plane I noticed the first of the objects. I say object as it was as small as a faint star, orbish, and moving sluggishly across the sky, at what seemed to be above the level of both plane and clouds. It was high up to the south and moving in a north-easterly direction. It was followed by five more similar objects (round is all I can describe as this was seen all with the naked eye). They were so faint, in fact, my wife only spotted one of them after much pointing and persisting. They moved not in any normal formation I've seen, nor were they in line as you might expect from migrating birds. They were staggered and steady. Indeed the last two were really far behind the first four. I cannot claim they were not high altitude jets, or drones, paper bags or weather balloons. But whatever they were they did not move like any other craft, or avian life, that we usually see under the flightpaths here. It would be interesting to hear if anyone else spotted them, or even better, knows what they are. Thanks for reading!

While driving home on Narellan Road on the 9 August 2017 I was stuck in the traffic. I noticed a bright orange coloured light flashing and moving fast, it was flying too low to be a plane and too fast for a conventional drone. There were no other lights visible like a plane (solid light with flashing ones as well). The light was flashing on and off every second, to a second and a half. This light was moving towards Wollongong.

Just witnessed a UFO to the north east, heading in an easterly direction. Was like an orange red fireball that looked the same size as an adjacent star and moving extremely slowly. Began blinking, on and off for about 20 seconds and then vanished? Probably some space junk burning up when entering our atmosphere, but certainly made an interesting view!

Wondering if anyone saw strange lights over Canberra at approximately 6.30 am on 6 August 2017. Two lights were travelling vertically, about the size of large stars. Both went up, the first one disappearing about five seconds before the second light. Saw them west of Canberra, just over roof level and watched until they both disappeared. Not sure if we release high altitude weather balloons here? Took about 20 seconds for the lights to fade out.

I'm new to this whole thing. A while ago, either last year, or the year before, I was in a swimming pool in the middle of the day, a little away from Forster, NSW when I sighted three silver, metallic objects tumbling in the sky. The objects appeared like they were tumbling towards the ground, yet they didn't seem to get any closer to the ground. A few other people, in and around the pool, witnessed the UFOs, and all thought they seemed strange. Could they have been weather balloons?

I was working in 2002 on board an offshore tender, for Tide Water, in the Timor Sea. I was at the fore peak at early evening, but still very bright and clear. I saw two, very bright stars, that were similar distances apart and I thought, 'Gee they are bright for this time of the evening.' Then one of the 'stars' dropped relative to the other and then shot up an angle and flew off. To this day I've have not told anyone. I yelled to the bridge, asking the deck officer, 'If he saw that?' I know what I saw and this sighting has always stayed with me.

This morning at about 6.35 am on my way to work when I saw a bright light, shaped like a rod, but slightly concave towards the ground. This was near where the sun was rising, in the east. A few minutes later I moved to the side of the road to have a better view and it had moved up further from the horizon. It then faded and disappeared.

Last night, Tuesday 25 July 2017 at 3:30 am to 4 am, my wife and I woke up due to a pulsating sound going through our room. We looked out the window and saw a roundish shaped disc that was flashing a white light. It was slowly flying above and passed our house. It went far away and we could still hear this sound, in our room, like it was still above us. It was a sound I've never heard before.

In 1971, I saw about six star like lights travelling in formation in the sky in Brazil (my native country). At one point, they separated and flew huge distances very quickly. They would make turns which were impossible to be made by a terrestrial aircraft (very sharp 20 or 30 degrees angles), then they regrouped and disappeared in seconds. I'll never forget it!

I was driving home from work at around 6 pm and I noticed three red lights travelling very slowly. The lights appeared to be in a long flow, they were not flashing. I noted that some of the lights were going on and off, then suddenly more smaller lights appeared near the main lights. I'm glad that I am not the only one that witnessed this☺

Hi guys. Last Tuesday night the 17 July 2017 at around 6 pm, I saw a bright light move from the SW to the NE. It was much brighter then any of the planets and much larger. At one point a satellite traveling W to E almost intersected it. The satellite was dwarfed by the size of the object. Any ideas? Lou

What were the three flashing lights in the sky over Taree at 5.50 pm earlier tonight? They were moving from west to east very slowly. The lights moved only in one direction, left to right, at same interval, then a longer break (my son said they might have been going round in a circle), then the same again. They all moved together away to the east and each light seemed to be closer to the other as they got further away. There was no noise and no green light which would indicate a plane. They were only just above the rooftops.

Olivia, we have been seeing the EXACT same thing over the Wollongong South Eastern sky between 3.45 am and 5.30 am every night/morning for well over a month. It does move in extremely strange ways, and is extremely bright and large, sometimes seeming to separate into two moving in and out, closely to each other, almost like they're embracing. Often with what seem to be green and red strands hanging next to/below them. So, so weird.

I have been trying to find similar sightings to a group of UFOs witnessed in the early 1980s. I am unsure as to the exact year, possibly, 1979 to 1982. My family of four including me, were sitting amongst the rocks on a beach late at night at Coffs Harbour. At around midnight, gazing at the stars out to sea, we all noticed what we thought were falling stars. The stars didn't 'fall' or disappear, they started making synchronised formations and patterns in the sky. The lights were brighter than stars, and the pattern formations went on for probably a few minutes and had us all wondering what in the world they were. There was no way that many planes would be in the sky, all at the same time and flying so close to each other, there were around six of these bright lights. Then all the lights moved close together for a moment and then suddenly all shoot off in different directions and disappeared. I would love to find anyone else who saw these lights back then. Lisa

Last night, and every night this week, a bright light appears in the sky around 3 to 4 am. The light moves in a very strange manner, up and down and moves very slowly, sometimes hovering in the sky for long periods. I'm not sure if it is a drone but it is very high in the sky, higher than a plane. The light is so bright it looked close to us. So we followed it from our car, we drove past Wamberal, from our house. Its size didn't change and it seemed to be somewhere over near Newcastle. Anyone living on the central coast will be able to see this light at 4 am. Please help me solve this mystery!
