The Coming Techno Apocalypse
David Thrussell knows a thing or two about being on the margins of society and holding unconventional views.
Through decades of being a cult identity, working as a renowned underground musician with the conspiracy -pop group Snog, Thrussell has headlined festivals as far field as Poland and Japan and performed in East German castles and Roman amphitheatres.
This bringing him to close encounters with the CIA, George W. Bush, George H. W. Bush and many other strange, strange creatures.
For the first time, Thrussell will tell all.
More recently, as a regular writer for the Australian New Dawn Magazine and the U.K. based Fortean Times, Thrussell has chronicled his (admittedly ironic) suspicion of technology and his fears of the inevitable encroachment of social media, social engineering and artificial intelligence.
Will humankind’s fraught relationship with The Machine spell our ultimate doom as a species?
Presented with unique and previously unseen photos, films and music.
Thursell lives, with his blended family of seven, on the dark slope of a forgotten mountain and was last seen having an animated conversation with some rocks and a shrub. He is, to be frank, an odd little man.
He is also the proprietor and head curator of The Omni Recording Corporation – a renowned reissue label that explores the periphery of Hillbilly, early Electronica and other music’s.
Beloved by iconic figures like Julian Assange and Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, David Thrussell is provocative and controversial and has lots to say.
For our sake, if for no other reason, please humour him.
Kind regards
