DESCRIPTION:Ben Hansen is a well known television host and lead inves
 tigator of the USA's Syfy Channel’s\, Fact or Faked: Paranormal Fil
 es.  Ben has appeared on and produced several other television progr
 ams such as 'UFOs Declassified' on the Smithsonian and Canada History Chan
 nels.\n\nHe lectures and appears at conferences around the world.  Ben 
 grew up in Utah and his supportive parents encouraged in him his thirst to
  explore many interests\, such as becoming a licensed airplane pilot\, ama
 teur radio operator\, licensed falconer\, certified scuba diver\, hang gli
 der and\, search and rescue dog handler.\n\nThe X-Files gave him an ins
 atiable desire as a teenager to explore mysteries of the unknown has gr
 aduated from college with an Honours BA in Sociology\, Criminology and 
 Corrections.  Ben has worked for several private and public crime ag
 encies before becoming a special agent for the FBI.\n\nBen leads a team of
  five specialists who travel the world looking for answers to many mysteri
 es.  Confronting the relationship of seeing and believing\, the team ha
 s witnessed and documented dozens of unbelievable events.  Apart from f
 ilming shows and documentaries\, Ben is often asked to provide analysis fo
 r images and videos for the Huffington Post\, Weird News column.\n\nEve
