UFO sighting on sydney harbour bridge in 1958/1959
"I would appreciate your assistance in clarifying whether this incident had occurred. I'm sure as a child in Sydney while crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge by train in the summer of 1958 or 1959, my clear recollection from the adults with me was that a huge pinkish UFO travelled over/under the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Such was the consternation that the train I was on stopped on the bridge. The light from the UFO were blinding, and everyone in the train carriage gasped as the UFO approached and just missed colliding with the train. No one believes me now but this memory has stayed with me for all my life."

All of a sudden John stopped the van in the middle of the road and without either of us saying a word we got out of the van, it was like we had no choice. I walked to the drivers side just as this thing, the likes of which we had never seen before rose straight up from the side of the road very close to us. It flew directly over us and then appeared to the land about 500 metres away. It seemed to be coned shaped and about the size of a large bus, the large end was the brightest light, a kind of blueish colour. This thing made a hissing noise and there was a 'vapour' trail behind it. There was no sign of it when we pulled up, nor was there any sign of light or anything when it appeared to land. Nothing we know of could possibly take off and land at such speed. Neither of us said much just got into our van and drove off. I can't recall being frightened but as John said later he felt an urgent need to get out of the area."

Observation: In the backyard of a Chrisian retreat in Sydney for a school excursion, I and a friend had witnessed a UFO hovering low, moving very slow without any sound and without any force or wind. The UFO was searching using a spotlight around the boys cabins and then it suddenly stopped moving after spotting us under it. Then it showed a colourful flashing double rings with a bright square light at the centre. The outer body of the triangle shape was a darker colour matching the night sky. After few minutes staying in the same spot it moved slowly hovering towards the bush before taking off to a higher attitude at the speed of light showing like an orange line.
I would be happy if anyone who had witnessed it at that time can explain it. This could be the work of a top secret project.

Sighting of Black Triangular Shaped Craft in 1989/1990
It was in the evening at about 5.50 pm, during the summer of 1989/1990, I was travelling north on Freemans Drive, at Freemans Waterhole (NSW, Australia) heading towards Heaton Gap (on the way to Mulbring from the F3 Freeway). As I exited the F3 Freeway I noticed an air craft following the base of the Watagan Mountains. The craft was travelling very slowly (about a third of the speed of a light aircraft during landing!) and quite low, casting a shadow on the mountain. I travelled through Freemans Waterhole keeping sight of the shadow on the mountains. As I proceeded towards Heaton Gap the aircraft (travelling west to east) came into view and passed over my car. I could see the craft as I looked upward through the windscreen of the car from the drivers seat. The craft was silent, black (no lights) and looked like a flying triangular wing. The best way to describe it's size was that it filled up (from head to tail) the width of a country road (ie one north and one south bound road) and the width would have been about the same. It was not much higher than tree height and appeared to be following a gully.
The road then had a sharp incline, so the craft was lower than where I was (to my right) and I could clearly see its rear and part of its upper surface. The craft did not appear to have any windows although I did not see it front on. The top/rear was dome shaped and smooth without any sharp angles at all. I guess the best way to describe it would be a domed pyramid, but not very high, all in proportions to the rest of the craft.
The craft appeared to be moving up and down in height to maintain a constant elevation from the ground surface. It was moving much slower and lower than a normal aircraft.
It took me about 10 minutes to get home, just in time for the news. I had been expecting to see on the news, a new military aircraft visiting Williamstown Airbase, but as yet I have not seen anything to compare this aircraft with. Note by UFO Research (NSW) Inc.: It appears that this craft had been flying in a manner to deliberately avoid being detected by ground based radar!
UFO ENCOUNTER NEAR MOUNT TIBROGARGAN, QUEENSLAND IN 1979
My wife and myself were driving home from Caloundra in about the spring of 1979. My vehicle was a little 4WD Suzuki 2 stroke. We were travelling along the old road as the new road and bypass weren't finished. It was about 8pm, there was no traffic either behind or approaching, that's how quiet it was in those days. We were driving past Mt Tibrogargan (Queensland, Australia - The mountain looks like a Gorilla) when a very loud noise like a giant childs spinning top came on the top of our car. The motor cut out but the headlights stayed on. I pulled into the side of the road and the car was illuminated with only a slight orange glow. The humming (which was quite deafening) moved away rapidly. We were both in shock, however, I turned the ignition switch and the car immediately sprang to to life. As we prepared to move off, there was a repeat performance, only even louder. Within seconds, the humming moved off although we heard it for several seconds after that as it faded away. We then drove home to Ipswich without any further problem but we were both very scared and upset. The following was added after subsequent contact with the witness, "At no stage during this incident was I able to sight the origin of the noise or light and as far as I am aware no missing time had been experienced".

We were casually talking in the car and she asked me to drive slowly down the road to watch out for any animals that cross. As we turned into Bangaroo Street, Bangor (NSW, Australia) and started driving down the hill, we saw a very bright ball of light coming down from the sky on our left at an angle, it then flew upwards and crossed in front of us before swooping downwards and shooting back up into the sky at an extremely fast speed, then suddenly dissapearing into thin air.

Observation: When our family was travelling north on the Pacific Highway between Raymond Terrace and Karuah (NSW, Australia) late at night, the three of us kids in the back were wide awake. Looking around, I noticed a star becoming larger and larger behind the car.
In a matter of seconds this bright light was tailing our car, matching the speed exactly.
It appeared as a brilliant blue white ball of light, that was swaying like a pendulum from side to side.
Extremely eery, it sat behind the car, pacing us for what seemed like five minutes or so.
Without warning, the object then shot up the left hand side of the car, and appeared to be skimming through the treetops, casting a weird glow on the trees as it did.
It was totally amazing that it was just pacing our car exactly, staying in line with the rear passenger window. Then in the blink of an eye, it pulled back to it's original position behind the car, and with the same lightening speed shot up to the right hand side, where it stayed for another couple of minutes.
The swaying motion was hypnotic and highly unusual.
Us kids were begging dad to stop the car, but having discussed it with mum and my siblings over the years, we believe dad was scared out of his wits by it, and that's why he wouldn't stop.
Once it had been on the right side of the car for a while, it once more returned to the original position behind the car, and without warning, it managed to vanish by shooting off backwards into the sky, and was gone from sight in under three seconds.

Observation: I was attending the Campbell Junior High School in 1975. The date is correct as I went to the Canberra Grammar School in 1976.
Myself and probably a hundred or so of my school mates were playing in the school grounds in the early afternoon during the lunch break. I was not the first person to see this object, it was a small silver disk like vehcile that was moving at high speed upwards away from us. Although it was a small object it was definately recognisable as the classic UFO space craft. I was larger than a simple disk as I seemed to be able to percieve nozzels in the middle of the craft that looked like they could have been for lights. This may all sound rather outrageous but I swear it is true. Afterward I did not hear of anything in the papers or on the news at the time and really I don't think people spoke about it at school in subsequent days. My memory was sparked recently when I read parts of a book that as been recently released in UFOs that states that there was alot of UFO activity in the early to mid 70s. I was wondering if this siting was reported at the time and perhaps you have some!
record of it.

I was pretty shit scarred As I do not usually believe in these things but as a matter of fact I do now What the hell was it and why could I see it my question is did anybody else see this I would preffer to stay anonymous for this procedure because my region may think I am very crazy, but shit I am still shaking from that day I havent stopped looking at the sights on the internet afrom this day It was so scary!

Observation: I had a business in Sydney and every second week I used to leave my country property at 2.30am to head back to Sydney.This particular morning I got out of bed at 2.15am and went straight to the fridge to get myself an orange juice, as I opened the fridge something in my head told me to go outside and look as I made my way out of the house I found strange that I the animals were not making any noises and my dog refuse to come out of his pen, as I looked south I noticed two lights approaching and traveling at about 70 knots towards me, at first I thought it was a plane with engine trouble so I immedietly turned all the outside lights on, then I realised it was not a plane but two flying disks they both slowed down and hovered above me at a height of about 10 metres both object were silent and suddenly I got this intense feeling of love that I have never felt before, then I scream to my brotherinlaw to come out and as I did the objects started to accelerate heading in a northly direction. My brotherinlaw managed to see the objects speed away and he said to me what the hell was that and I replied thats our creators and then I felt this sadness just like when someone dear passes away. even to this moment I still feel that feeling of loss.

Just over a week ago on the 27 April 2005 I was on my way to work it was 5:20am. I was driving on a road that is not used much that time of the morning, anyway I came around a corner and saw a blue light flashing, at first I though it was a police car but where I saw the light there is no road and it was going to slow. As I got closer it was near a street light I just happened to turn my head & saw an object flashing about 1 metre on the roof of a house as the blue light flashed again I saw what it was a UFO. It was a silver metallic coloured sphere with what looked like rivets on its surface. I just sped of because it freaked me out. Now I would not be writing to you if I was lying because I didn't believe in them at all, I always thought it was just people wanting to get attention for something or they were on something strong. When I saw it I rang my husband & told him we even went back to where I saw it & there was nothing that could have made that light. I have now eaten my words & have told a few friends who believe me. I just thought you would like to know.

Sighting Report The witness had just started a new job at a hospital in Hobart; this meant an early start for work at 6 AM. The route from Gagebrook to the city is via the East Derwent Highway and the Bowen Bridge, a route the witness has traveled often.
Just north of the Bowen Bridge the highway drops down a hill then curves left towards a straight heading towards an underpass beneath the bridge.
As the witness came onto the straight a slow flashing blue light caught her attention. The light was low and above or just left of the road. At first she thought it could have been a police or service vehicle. The light flashed every 3 to 4 seconds and was moving slowly to the left as she viewed through the front windscreen.
By now the witness was approaching the location of the light which was to the left of the highway and visible out the passengers' window. At this point for some five seconds she was able to view an object apparently some 100m away and looking to be just a meter above the roadside house. The pear shaped object had a flashing blue light on the right bottom side. The body of the object seemed to have metallic patterns or symbols on it, whilst above there were two black areas, possibly windows. The object which was still moving very slowly left looked to be a bit bigger than a car.
The witness felt panic and shock at the sight of the object and sped off beneath the underpass and out onto the Bowen Bridge, she glanced back to the north of the bridge but did not see the blue light or object. She returned with her husband later that day but could not locate anything to explain the sighting.
Investigation
The sighting was reported to UFO Research (NSW) Inc. on the 7 May 2005, they in turn passed on the information to TUFOIC on 15 May. The witness was contacted by telephone at once and then completed a sighting form on the 22 May 2005. The sighting location was visited and photographs taken of the location. Nothing was visible to account for the sighting.
A check was made for any Helicopter, Air Ambulance, and commercial aircraft flights but these all proved negative.
Conclusion
The reported low elevation of the sighting would seem to preclude an explanation by high flying aircraft, also the size and movement of the object rules out a normal astronomical explanation.
The witness says that there was no other road traffic noticed at the time of the sighting. The witness has since the sighting traveled on the same road to go to work and has not seen any similar lights. The Bowen Bridge is not visible at the initial sighting point, whilst at the final viewing location the witness was looking towards the low spurs of Mt Direction, this would seem preclude an explanation from traffic movements.
The only local lighting in the area is a street light adjacent to the sighting location. A service road also is next to the sighting location but well below the location of the object.
None of the houses appeared to have any unusual construction or protuberances that could be misidentified.
On the information provided the case remains unexplained.

A RETROSPECTIVE OVERVIEW OF A UFO INCIDENT WITH ABDUCTION FEATURES

This story cannot be confirmed unless other witnesses were to come forward. Unlikely. The account could easily be denied for obvious reasons relating to myself.
On an unspecified date in the UK of the 1970’s, I was taken up into a flying saucer (not actually a disc) by riding up an anti-gravity beam. The incident occurred in the evening, late one year between the time of 8.30 pm – 1.30 am when I was returning to the ground via the same means of transport. The site was finally cleared by 2.30 am (an undisclosed location in the North of England).
The only mention in the media was one item in a local newspaper (buried inside the paper) that ran for no more than one-inch space. This report re-countered that there had been a series of power cuts in the region but gave not details other than the faults that were corrected. The report went on to mention there had been a handful of people who had thought they’d seen a UFO in the sky during the cuts.
I was fully conscious whilst riding up the beam, at the end of which I entered the transport through passing inside from a transparent wall. I immediately came face to face with ‘The Usher’ who said words to the effect “Surprise! Surprise! I bet you didn’t think you’d get me!” His manner was one of amusement, not unfriendly and quite exactly correct, precise and courteous. He then led me through the brightly-lit interior to a room.
On the way to the room he explained to me that he was a humanoid life form – a species involved from insects. His face was coal black, the skin smooth and leathery. His eyes seemed human with the iris being surrounded by the whites of his eyeballs. He smelled of sweat. The transport had a neutral clean clinical smell.
He told me he had a reputation and not to cross him because he had been known to get upset. Apparently he didn’t like people killing insects as he saw then as kindred evolutionary cousins.
Warning! Not all aliens are nice – don’t always have your best interests in mind! They are neither automatons or monsters. They are first and foremost people with a whole range of behaviour patters.
They came here for their own reasons and don’t give away a lot of information. You have to deduce what’s going on through analysing the interactions between your behaviour and theirs. The ones who mainly come are humanoids. Common similarities in biology design. However, make no mistake whilst they may come from planets in Main Sequence Star System (G2 stars, M class planets) they can exist mostly without aid in a oxygen nitrogen atmosphere in 1q. at 14.5 lbs per sq in pressure.
They have a different evolutionary history and a more than slightly different functional biology. Not all based on the carbon atom! They eat, sleep, and excrete and reproduce themselves like any other species. Intelligence is universal only package. It comes in changes. They have their own ideas on how a society should function and have been socialised according to their environment and kinship networks.
They have a different way of viewing themselves and the universe - every species unique. They don’t all like each other but have standards of toleration and protocols for dealing amongst themselves. They don’t all have the same technology, but rather are famous for their own innovations. Not all are of the same level of social development. There is more than one species in the local neighbourhood. They don’t use radio waves for long range communication from what I can gather – but I digress.
The ‘Usher’ took me into a large room in which sat a number of species at a long (oblong) table. I was bid to take a seat and asked to participate in a discussion of inquiry. The ‘Usher’ withdrew from the room and I was left alone to face several groups of aliens of different species (all humanoid)
Note: I wasn’t the only person taken onboard that night but I neither came into contact with the other humans or knew where they were held or what happened to them other than afterwards they were all returned in the same manner to the site as myself.
The Inquiry discussion began by announcing they had problems and sought my advice. I was told that humans weren’t unintelligent – that all species had a unique problem solving capacity and that they appreciated others perceptions. I replied “Why me – I‘m a nobody – a silly clerical Civil Servant without a sophisticated education”. The reply was that this didn’t matter – I wasn’t an unintelligent person and they wanted my inside (?). So I co-operated and listened to what the definition of the problem or problems were about. I asked questions, tried to analyse the answers and occasionally passed an insightful perceptive remark. I felt a bit on the spot – inadequate – but did my best.
I don’t remember precisely what I was asked to review or what answers I gave. Sure to say I was told I would not remember any way. I was there for quite sometime being quizzed. I was supplied with refreshment at one stage. Bread and water, which looked and tasted normal. Then I was thanked and allowed to leave. The ‘Usher’ returned and guided me out of the room to the exit hatch. He asked me what it was about. I mentioned one thing and then he remarked “of course you won’t remember - you might as well chalk it down to experience” was his attitude, not actual words.
When I was positioned, he bade a good luck or a farewell and I rode the beam down to the ground. I was reminded that still being a non-industrial Civil Servant it wasn’t in anybody’s best interests to say anything as I had signed the Official Secrets Act of 1911-1921, even though it meant little except I might have a job in the future and nobody would believe me anyway. I complied with his request on behalf of the British Govt as I felt a bit privileged. I never mentioned the incident to anyone. It wasn’t relevant to my life. End of story.
I have not put in every detail – none of this will be verified any way and I wasn’t endorse any publication of these details.

The British Govt attitude is that they don’t deny UFOs exist but stop short of endorsing the view that they are flown by ETs. Reports do and can be de-classified. They have a 30 year rule for de-classified material on all subjects. But for sensitive matters some records are never de-classified as evidence of some details of the 1st and 2nd World Wars.
I have no particular fear of Govt retribution for imparting this story. Should it be released to a wider audience, I would be discredited. I’m on record as having had two nervous breakdowns in Australia, brought on by family problems, drinking too much alcohol and having ingested LSD.
On leaving Govt. Service, I was warned that all ex-Govt. employees, no matter how low, are targets if they travel. I was even warned that should I run into trouble living in another country (even a supposedly friendly one like in the alliance or the Commonwealth) I should contact my nearest British Embassy. Although these instructions had nothing to do with my experience with a UFO, it highlighted the British Govt.’s distrust of everything, including friends during the Cold War.
I have since found out through the Internet that the British Govt. was researching ‘Electo Gravitics’ from 1952 till the mid 1960’s. Electro- gravitics is a propulsion system which powers UFO shuttle craft from Earth’s orbit, and although involves some general principles is not to be mixed up with the heavier larger systems which power ‘Constellation’ class cruisers for interstellar flights.
I have no idea how much the Europeans or other allies shared in the science of this research. Save to say that the Net tells me the theory has been known since 1952. However, technically its skill supposed to be a non-starter because there’s no accurate definition of what space or gravity actually are true or not. I’m not in a position right now to say. The British Govt. likes to keep control of the information.
It is for this reason, I don’t think there will be any quick advances in the field of starship propulsion systems. The world is still fragmented into nation states and not really unified in culture or political terms, although economically it’s almost in unison. Some countries persist in human right violations and won’t reform their legal systems. Thousands of people are executed every year (even in 1st world progressive societies) and some are tortured.
From what I can gather, crime can have an organic or biological side to it. Not always environment, although ingesting toxic chemicals that make their way into the food chain to contaminate and thereby derange cumulatively whole populations over time.
I can’t see any foreseeable interstellar travel in the near future until systems are reformed away from populist retribution and into social and scientific rehabilitation. Deep space needs an integrated social and political system of dome maturity. There has to be some demonstration of space for civilian society to develop. You can’t have well trained hair trigger personalities or agencies thinking they can force their opinions on others. They will come off worse and may feel the sting of a fly swat.
I repeat, not all aliens are nice - not all bad. Some may have a sense of humour – many don’t. The unthinking warrior element no matter where it flourishes can be dangerous. It’s likely that deep space facilities in the solar system will be marked by international co-operation and ultimately interstellar travel will be through a ‘united nations’ space agency. Since that is the only institution on the face of this planet (earth) that in someway embodies a type of unity and practical altruism (be it ever so currently flawed).
Individuals may be refined and sophisticate wise and competent but organisations have problems. It’s all about social organistaions that hinders development.
Exploration of the solar system with or without alien presence will continue to be dogged by lack of political and social will as well as funding and technical concerns. Space vehicles may be built in orbit but still use solid fuel boosters and chemical liquids for fuel in main engines – (old basic technology). Even the intermediate top range ‘ion engine’ tested in the last four years uses a liquid medium, which limits speed and range.
So don’t expect any government soon to announce the aliens have arrived or that we will be sending a manned expedition to Pluto in the next decade. They’ll tell you the universe is probably logically teeming with life but there are no aliens coming here – it’s science fiction and even if they were, it would be like an extra layer of government, all be it unseen.
Aliens don’t hide themselves well but they don’t advertise their presence either – that defeats the purpose of operating an outpost or way station and stops the influence peddling on this quadrant. How many earthbound racists would get on with aliens who don’t smell too good or are anesthetically appealing to humans?
In conclusion: By way of a joke, would you like your daughter to marry one or move into your neighbourhood and reduce the value of your house?
Postscript: During my experience over the space of a few hours in the “consultation” (not what it really was) – on a couple of occasions, somewhat hot and perspiring and feeling uncomfortable, I was given refreshments so I could continue. What I was given was a glass of cool sweet watery liquid, like a fuitjuice and a piece of bread with the fine consistency of cake. I ate and drank this alien brew – the effects that it was an exceptional ‘pick me up’. I felt really good after consuming it and felt very clear headed with a state of well being which would wear off till being I had more. When I had my fill I eventually evened out and had no more difficulties in continuing with the consultation.
Observation: A very dark almost black boomerang shaped object moving quite slowly passed overheaad - quite high, making no noise and having no lights.
It was travelling east to west.

Observation : I was doing a horse ride from Broome to Darwin from July
to September 1994. To cut a long story we were floating some horses into El
Questro Station across the Pentacost River at around three in the
afternoon. The car and float was moving extremly slow due to the roughness
of the road and we did not want to spook the horses. I was travelling on the
back of the ute keeping an eye on the animals when out of the corner of my
eye I saw what I at first thought to be three planes coming in low to my
left. I thought it odd because they were travelling really close together,
and as I have flown planes before I know how dangerous that can be unless
you are properly trained. The reason I thought they were planes was because of the
red and green lights and as a lot of the very rich stay at this station I
thought it might have been a private airfield they were going to landing on. Anyway they came in quite low and
then just stopped and hovered about 200 yards to my left, ovoid in shape
(typical saucer shaped) with first red and then green lights travelling horizontally around the middle of
the saucer. They were still there at 10.30pm that night, at one stage I felt I could almost touch them. They were completly silent and did
nothing at all until they left that night.
Description : No unusual movement except the coming in fast and low and
then just stopping dead almost on top of us. They made no sound at all.

Observation = My sister and myself were driving along Hamilton Road, Quakers Hill, NSW Australia when the car I was driving suddenly shook violently then completely stopped, nothing worked, not even the radio, the motor just stopped. I was scared something was really wrong with the car. I started to get out of the car to get my to babies out of the back seat when something made me look up. Thats when I observed this massive circular disc shaped object, it didn't seem to be much higher than the power pole. It was surrounded completely by lights and had a dome in the middle on the top. We watched it slowly move over the dairy adjacent to the road, there was no sound then it seemed to stop then shoot up into the air. I was actually standing under this thing, it was a gun metal grey in colour and the size of half a football field. Once the object shot up in the air my car started again with no problems
Description = No, it was one solid shape round with a dome on the top of it. Someone from another part of NSW reported at the time to a newspaper and sketched exactly what we saw. There was several sightings that night

Andrew notified UFO Research (NSW) Inc. of a sighting viewed from his house at Eden NSW on 27 July, 2003.
Andrew with his wife Simone and two friends, Mick & Jenny were at their house located on the Princess Highway, Eden.
I spoke initially with Andrew and later with Jenny and their account had been:
The two women were on the front balcony when they noticed a large object coming towards them travelling from North-West. They called Andrew & Mick who viewed the object through binoculars.
They initially thought it was a plane but the lack of sound and movements and light formation drew their attention to think otherwise. Andrew stated that the object was only about 1 km above the house and appeared ‘dinner plate’ size to the naked eye. It was doing strange manoeuvres and changed
direction travelling in a Southerly direction. The objects lights were white and oscillating and as it went over the house appeared more intense. The object flew off at an incredible speed.
Andrew advised he has had previous experiences. About 15 years ago whilst driving his car with a friend near Sale (Gippsland, Victoria) they witnessed a bright light heading straight towards them and
when close ‘it shot straight up into the air’.
Andrews other experience was when he was with his younger brother Bill on their parents farm at South Gippsland, Woodside. The boys were only 10 and
12 years old and that particular day their parents were having a get-together with about 18 to 20 people. The boys were playing outside in the field and witnessed a craft come down and land. He said they were very scared and hid behind the dam bank. He thought the shape to be cylindrical with a landing structure. He thinks they experienced time loss of about one hour and would like one day to have hypnotherapy to find out what actually had happened.
They returned to the house at dusk and informed their mother (who is still alive) of their experience. They were not allowed to go outside after this and it was passed off as a possible crashed satellite. The next day when they investigated, there was no sight of the craft that had landed. There will need to be further investigation into Andrews experience.

This incident occured in 1984. It was the evening of the full moon and I had decided to take my dog for a midnight walk at nearby Gwellup Lake. I had walked some way along the lake side under the gum
trees and was about to cross a clearing lit by the moonlight when I noticed three or four figures in the distance heading my way. Judging from the size of
the approaching figures I presumed them to be a group of boys, and I had noticed a white object moving about which I thought was the moonlight picking up the movement of white trousers as the figures moved. Being a lone female out very late alone, I considered it prudent to wait in the dark beneath the trees until the boys had passed on their way. As the figures drew closer however I realized that they were three humanoid figures moving in single file. What was obvious is that their arms and legs and head were out of proportion to their bodies which caused them to move with a strange gait (ape like movements), and the white object was actually a ball of white light rolling behind them just above the ground. They continued to move closer all the time without realizing I was crouching in the dark. At this point my dog had become terrified with hackels up and began to bark and snarl. The figures were alerted to our presence and stopped dead in their tracks. The leader lifted up his strange lanky arm and let out a spine tingling whooping noise! At this point my dog bolted with her tail between her legs leaving me to fend for myself, however after watching the dog flee, the small figures along with the rolling ball of light also fled into a high growth of wild lupins not far off.
This was actually followed up the following evening when my cousin some how persuaded me to return to the lake about the same time as he was anxious
to take photo's if anything else occured. We did not encouter any further small creatures but were buzzed several times over the clearing by an extremely bright light that made several passes over us.
Unusual: The white ball of light moved with a rolling and bobbing motion but never touched the ground. The figures seemed to be unclothed with darkish or almost greyish appearance but this was difficult to discern in the moonlight.
Location: I would have been at least 12 feet from the figures when they stopped and realized that they were being observed.
Weather_conditions: It was winter but a clear night.
Physical_stuff: The figures would have stood approximately 3 feet in height. The white light that buzzed us later was originally a long way off like a star and grew in size as it approach. I could not estimate its size over the clearing as I was hiding in fear under the trees as my cousin attempted to take photos of the light.

Observation: I was driving to Armidale from the East coast along the Walcha Rd and had reached the undulating land at the top of the plateau. The engine of the VW Transporter van gradually lost power and the lights dimmed as a UFO ,about the size of two large shipping containers, passed me moving directly above the power lines on my right hand side, it continued along above the power lines and was soon out of sight. The power to the engine returned as the object moved away. I was travelling at 100 km/h at the time and slowed to about 80 km/h with the loss of power. I estimate the speed of the object to be around 200 km/h. The only sound apart from the road noise of the moving van was the sound of "air being displaced by the object of that size.
Description: The object glowed a pale neon red and blue along the outline of its shape which resembled two square pyramids joined at the base. The object seemed semi-opaque with a milky glow, it gave the illusion of rotating end over end but this observation could have been due to my changing viewpoint as the object passed.
Location: Walcha Rd heading West about 20 to 30 minutes before Walcha.

Other_Experiences: I once met a group of strangely dressed people who seemd to be observing a house in Naremburn in 1979 when I was about 17 years of age. The people were of slight build and wore suits simmilar to those worn by Cathy Freeman at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. The suits were grey and covered what looked like backpacks on two of the people, the others had small hand held devices. Some were crouching and some standing behind trees on both sides of the street. I heard the nearest one speak to me and ask who I was, I did not see the persons lips move and seemed to hear the question in my head. Thats when it got too weird for me and I ran home in fright. I had thought of this event as some alien encounter for some years following, but with the passing of the years since I have considered the idea that these people may have been humans from some future time.
UFO activity in the Grampians, Victoria, Australia
I would like to comment on the UFO activity reported from the Grampians area of Victoria Australia.
I live in the north of New South Wales, and have been corresponding with Paul Norman of the Victorian UFO Research Society regarding the continuous activity in this location.
This activity was brought to our notice early this year. We heard that video footage had been taken and sent to the USA for analysis. The exact location was not disclosed at this point in time.
I had my first viewing of this footage at the August UFO Conference in Sydney, where I was a guest speaker. Paul Norman showed several minutes of
the footage from the Grampians Mountains "UFO's". Having done extensive video analysis of UFO footage myself, I was interested to see what all the
fuss was about.
Basically, the footage showed distant bright illuminations way out of focus, and forming the notorious "Airy Disc". It was impossible to judge
what these illuminations actually were, or what the source of light may have been. The location where these lights were, is supposed to be rugged bushland, with little or no population. Yet no Topographical maps have been accessed even to this day so as to establish roads, farm houses, fire
trails or points of interest that may attract human activity to the area in question.
Just recently, the guy who took the video footage and is apparently the main Skywatcher to the Grampian illuminations, sent me a 2 hour video of
the footage he had taken over the last few months hoping I could add weight
to this "UFO Hot Spot" now being compared to the Norwegian Hessdalen
project conducted by the Østfold College Norway.
The footage showed some of the layout of the land at late dusk, but mostly taken in the darkness of night. Infrared was sometimes used which only
brightened the illuminations and did not show colour.
Most still badly out of focus.
In visual analysis of the footage as a first stage subject familiarity run,
I noted the distant horizon of approx. 15klm and kept it in alignment with closer mountain ridges so as to see just how far the illuminations moved in
relation to these features. Throughout the whole sequence, NO illumination moved ABOVE the distant horizon line. This means that to date, the
illuminations are classified as GROUND BASED illuminations, NOT aerial illuminations.
There are a couple of good short sequences which show the illuminations moving close BEHIND
tree trunks. Two bright illuminations follow the exact same path on two consecutive nights.
Could this indicate a road or track? Someone really needs to drive into this area to check it out.
The land has areas of clear felled trees, now grassland and grazing cattle so access is possible.
It appears that the patrons associated with the Victorian UFO group lack the knowledge and necessary photographic equipment in order to gather the necessary photographic evidence, and are unwilling to venture into the midst of the area where these 'lights' are seen with nightly regularity.
A Newspaper reporter visited the location, took still photographs using time exposure, one showing two illuminations leaving CURVED motion trails.
Curved in different directions ruling out camera movement. The Journalists came away unable to explain what they had observed.
So something strange just may be occurring in the Grampians of Victoria, but very little valuable photographic evidence has resulted in the several
months of this event so far. just how long it will continue is anyones guess. It is either a true UFO event, and a special one at that, or Human
activity, or a combination of both. It needs a dedicated team of researchers to spend a full week or two there. THAN there would be answers.

A truck driver travelling north of Narrabri on Monday night says he spotted a low-flying object he can't explain, "I was heading north...and this thing came from the left hand side, about telegraph pole height. I was in its path, and it swooped around front of me...it was amazing the pace it went, and then it just sort of flattened out and took off on the right hand side, and disappeared along the flat", 'Peter the Truckie' says , "I thought it might have been an aircraft, from an airforce base, so I rang Williamstown Air Force base, and they said 'no, it wouldn't be flying that low', and I rang Parkes telescope and the observatory in Canberra just to find out I'm not going bloody silly!"
Peter was put into contact with Doug Moffatt, from the Australian UFO Research Network, who says, "this is a particularly dramatic case...and I find it impossible to come up with any conclusion of some sort of terrestrial background".

This is a short report on the Car Encounter which happened near Warrnambool on the 18 October 2002. I am working on a more detailed report.
Location of sighting: Approximately 15 km west of Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia.
Description of Sighting: At about 12.30 pm Sue and her husband John and their infant grandson were heading home in their 1994 Toyota along Mortlake Road, west of Warrnambool when Sue noticed an odd metallic object above the car. The object came down out of a bank of low cloud, went back and came down again. This happened a few times, each time the object came lower. Sue described the object as a "big dome, which was wobbling". It followed them for a time and then disappeared over the car. They pulled over to the side of the road to see if they could get a better look at the object.
Sue got out of the car and this is when the windscreen was sucked out. Sue said that it "shot up into the air at a 90 degree angle, very fast". They went home and told their family what had happened and the police were called.
Latter they went back to the site to have a look for the windscreen, but it was not found.

Observation: Warship Newcastle at sea 25 nm east off sydney participating in anti ship wargames with other naval units. The closest other unit was some 5 nm as surface consort. I was on the bridge at the time of initial observation. I saw bright lights pass directly in front of the ship at an excessive speed. The light projected reminded me of headlights from a passing car.
The lights stopped to the starboard beam of the ship ( front right). It is hard estimate a distance however it would have been no more than 100 meters ahead. The object shone a bright light at the front of the ship. This lasted for approximately 2 seconds. The object then moved at an excessive speed prior to adopting a ballistic profile( went stright up). I have never seen such speed before.
The operations room was contacted and it was verified from operators that there were no helicopters in the air at the time. The next scheduled movement from Nowra was an SH-60 Seahawk helicopter that was to be used in the exercise. This was due on task at 0400.
At the time all Radars were not transmitting as per exercise requirements. Weather at the time was clear with unobstructive views in all directions. I cannot recall if there was moonlight that evening or not.
Description: No changes of shape.
Movement from last position was excessive.
Location: 25 nm east of Sydney.
