Membership funds contribute to the costs of hosting (including airfare, accommodation, meals and speakers’ fee) interstate and overseas speakers.  Being a non-profit organisation, membership funds assist us to maintain our website, Australia Post Box, statutory and Meetup fees, equipment, quality meetings’ venues and services’ provision.

Membership of the Association entitles you to a discounted meeting entry fee.  This discount may exclude some workshops, training courses and special events where overseas speakers are hosted. 

Members are automatically added to our mailing list and you may unsubscribe at any time.

The categories of membership are:

  • Member is any person over the age of 18 years, and
  • Family member is a group membership granted to any persons from the same family, living at the same address, and
  • Concession member is a person under the age of 18 years, and holders of the following concession cards (State and Commonwealth Government): DVA Gold, DVA Pensioner Concession, Centrelink Pensioner Concession, Centrelink Health Care and Seniors Card.

Annual membership rates (12 months) for new applicants and renewals are as follows:

  • Member: $35
  • Family: $40
  • Concession: $30

The membership period is 12 months from the payment confirmation date.

A Members’ Register is maintained in accordance with clause 7 of the NSW,  Associations Incorporation Act 2009.

Membership Applications and Renewals

Download the Membership Application and Renewal Form (pdf document with fillable fields) and complete the form for postal and payments at a meeting.  Cash payments only at meetings, since we have no EFPOS facility.  This form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to be installed on your computer, the form fields can then be filled out after saving.

You may also renew and apply for membership, using your PayPal account.  Alternatively, pay with the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express, by clicking the, Pay with a Card button, on the PayPal account login screen.  Following payment confirmation you will receive an email that includes the receipt.
